Mindfulness Through Art: Festive Candle Painting

8 November 2025 @ 11:00 am 12:30 pm

In this special festive workshop we will be painting candles. Using acrylic paints, you will decorate two candles with a design of your choice. Perfect to enjoy at home over the festive season, or to give as gifts.

Creating art offers a pathway to a meditative state, allowing us to experience the profound healing and restorative benefits it provides. Whether you’re an experienced artist or haven’t picked up a paintbrush in years, everyone is welcome to join this calming and relaxing watercolour art workshop. Here, the focus is on using art as a tool for self-connection, embracing the flow of creativity, and cultivating awareness in the present moment.

Objective:

These sessions are designed to provide a safe and nurturing environment where participants can explore creativity as a pathway to mindfulness. Through art, they will practice being present, fostering a deeper connection with themselves and their surroundings. The workshops encourage self-expression, cultivate a sense of calm, and offer tools for integrating mindfulness into daily life.

While the primary goal is to provide time and space for mindfulness through art, there will also be an element of teaching and skill-building.

When and Where:

Sessions will take place once a month. Set in the stunning location of the Hayloft at Horsenden Farm, Horsenden Lane North, Perivale, UB6 7PQ

Booking:

Though these workshops are aimed at adults, interested older children (aged 12+) can also attend when accompanied with a participating adult.
