Children’s Halloween Workshop: Magical Crafts from Nature

Step into a world of autumn magic this Halloween!
In this enchanting, hands-on 2-hour workshop, children will explore the wonders of nature while creating their very own eco-friendly crafts. Your child will leave with unique creations, a deeper appreciation of the natural world, and a sprinkle of Halloween wonder!
Morning (SOLD OUT) and afternoon (14.30 – 16.30) sessions available.
What’s included:
Wand Making – craft a one-of-a-kind wand from sticks, feathers, seeds, fabric, and natural treasures.
Broomstick Making – build a charming witch’s broom from herbs, grasses, dried flowers and twine.
Spider Web Weaving – weave a magical web and decorate it with autumn leaves, learning about the clever spiders that inspire us.
This workshop celebrates the season, encourages imagination, and helps children connect with the natural world. All activities use sustainable, natural, biodegradable materials that are kind to the earth.
Details:
- Suitable for children aged 6 – 12 years.
- Parents are welcome to stay, but can also leave children with us. Consent and contact forms will be provided for you to complete on arrival.
- Workshops will be limited to 15 children per session.
- The workshop may include a short walk on the nature reserve – weather permitting.
- The craft activities will take place in the covered courtyard. We will be under cover from rain but do dress to stay warm!
- The workshop will be facilitated by our farmer and florist, Beth (DBS checked and First Aid qualified), and volunteer assistants.
- Proceeds go to fund the charitable activities of Friends of Horsenden and the running of Horsenden Farm.
