DESCRIPTION:Why not come and make your own Jewellery?Bring your own foraged collections and come try your hand at Sand Casting.Walk away with a finished piece or more. Wear them immediately or gift to someone special… \n\n\n\nOn Sunday December 15th we will be hosting Issi Bulloch for a Sand Casting in Silver workshop. This will be from 10-2 under the big stretch tent behind the small courtyard\, next to the new bakery.Cost is £110 with an additional cost depending on weight of silver used for your piece\, which is normally around £30. Horsenden Loaf and Perivale Brewery will be open as usual to provide sustainance while we work. \n\n\n\nSand Casting is an age-old technique of Casting\, used to create replicas of things in sand by pouring molten metal into it\, in this case Recycled Sterling Silver. A great way to use up old silver and make something new & exciting\, made by your own hands.Please bring along a few small found objects of your choice\, my favourite are Nature inspired like acorns\, twigs\, shells etc but also buttons\, coins and small trinkets but remember no larger than 2-3cm because otherwise they could be too heavy to wear!In the class you will create a replica of your found object in Silver and turn it into a pendant\, earring or ring\, by also learning basic Jewellery techniques such as sawing\, soldering and polishing.Only 10 spaces available so Book in advance and Wear sensible comfortable work clothes. \n\n\n\nPlease contact Emma on Whatsapp or call/message her on 07899996339 to book a place.
